You're trying to help an aging parent, but you're juggling work, your own family, and a healthcare system that seems to have more questions than answers.
Your loved one is struggling with medications, appointments, or changing health needs, and you're worried something important is being missed.
A hospitalization or sudden health crisis has turned everything upside down, and you need someone who understands what happens next.
You're facing the difficult decision of finding the right care setting for someone you love and don't know where to begin.
When healthcare decisions become confusing, Michele helps you understand what's happening, what questions to ask, and what steps come next — with the knowledge and compassion of an experienced nurse.
During a hospitalization, discharge, or sudden change in health, Michele helps families navigate the transition with a steady hand, clear communication, and genuine concern for the person's comfort and well-being.
For seniors who need a supportive place to call home, Balance of Care offers shared living with personalized attention, dignity, and the kind of warmth that helps residents feel like they belong.
What makes Michele different is the way she connects with people. She has a gift for helping even challenging personalities feel comfortable, heard, and respected. Families trust her clinical knowledge, but they remember her warmth. She treats every client as though she's known them their whole life, because to Michele, caring for someone means caring about them.
Michele Billings started Balance of Care LLC as a health advocate because she saw how easily seniors and their families can become overwhelmed by the healthcare system. In just a year and a half, that passion has grown into shared living care homes, with a second home soon to open.
Michele brings 15 years of nursing experience across behavioral health, GI, primary care, med-surg, and neuro PCU hospital settings. But her work is about more than clinical knowledge. She truly enjoys caring for seniors and believes they deserve to feel valued, heard, and treated with compassion — never as though they've somehow aged out of needing care.
Her approach is warm, friendly, and personal. She listens, builds trust, and helps bring order to complicated healthcare situations while making each person feel like family.
“Michele is so diligent, thorough, and communicates so effectively. She helped the patient transition quickly while making sure they were comfortable and well informed.”
“She truly walks alongside her clients and their families through every step of the journey. Professional, trustworthy, compassionate, and always going above and beyond.”
“She balances her knowledge of the physical, medical and emotional needs of her clients with compassion, humor, and patience. She is simply the best.”
Whether you're worried about an aging parent, facing a healthcare crisis, or simply need someone in your corner, Michele is here to help. Reach out to Balance of Care for a caring conversation about what your family needs and how she can help.
